Account & Data Deletion Policy
At Backgammon Galaxy, you have full control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can do so directly within the app or by contacting our support team.
Method 1: Delete Directly In-App (Fastest)
Open the Backgammon Galaxy app.
Navigate to More → Settings menu.
Locate the "Delete Account" option and follow the on-screen prompts.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Web/Email
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot log in, you can request manual account deletion:
Email: support@backgammongalaxy.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Details: Please send the email from the address associated with your Backgammon Galaxy account and include your Username.
What happens to your data?
Data Deleted: Upon processing your request, we will permanently delete your email address, username, linked authentication accounts (Apple/Google), chat history, coin balances, and Star Pro subscription data.
Data Retained: For the integrity of the game, we retain anonymized match records (the moves played on the board) for anti-cheat and engine analysis purposes. This game data is completely stripped of your personal identifiers. Additionally, as a registered company, we are required by law to retain financial transaction records (such as in-app purchase receipts) for tax compliance purposes.
Timeline: Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification.
