“9/7*is mandatory and then 16/11 to save it from hits,but also to have ammunition for bar point battle.”

“I think you have to try and stop Black making you bar point with 16/11 9/7* to equalise the game. I prefer 16/11 rather than 6/1* but that could be correct.”

“I would double hit.
16/9 looks pretty, but villain gets a full roll to improve his position. Any 5/6 or small point making numbers look pretty strong.
Putting 2 guys on the roof is a more dynamic approach.”
